Summer 2014

It's been a crazy year. One filled with blessings, to be sure, but - crazy. We moved twice, and had baby number five (yes, five). We're now settled in to our new home in Indiana and looking forward to whatever the next year brings.

I took a hiatus from blogging, due to said craziness (see above), but have missed it. I look back on previous blog posts and am so glad to have the record of life with these boys. 

As we head into a new school year, I want to take some time to reflect back on our summer. Is it just me, or did the time fly by?!

We celebrated two birthday boys over the summer. Each one had their own special treasure hunt - a family tradition around here.  My husband does an AMAZING job with this each time. The boys look forward to it more than any other part of their birthday celebration. 

We've also enjoyed spending more time with family, now that we live close to them again. 

And we were very fortunate to have many friends and family members join us at the end of summer for a  celebration.
