September Schooling

As many of you know, I had surgery in the middle of September.  Fortunately, everything went well and I'm getting closer to being 100% recovered every day.  Meanwhile, the schooling continued - while taking advantage of the beautiful early-fall weather whenever possible...

One boy even built a replica of Leonardo daVinci's clock...

The boys also enjoyed an extended stay at Nana and Papa's house while I had my surgery - it was very gracious of them to keep the boys for over a week!  Many movie nights and sugary snacks were enjoyed...

Nana and Papa even managed to get everyone to Catholic Schoolhouse each week - not an easy feat.

Don't worry - as I write this, Nana and Papa are in the Virgin Islands spending two weeks recovering.

The boys returned from Nana and Papa's house safe and sound (well, safe anyway) and we moved my recovery to a little cabin on a little lake for a week.
